Some time ago while working for the famous Teatro Colón doing orchestrations for many artists, I had a connection with one of those great musicians, Marcela Morelo a famous singer and composer with a very sweet voice. Time has passed, and in a new concert for the Teatro Colón, I've encountered Marcela again and told her that I would love to arrange one of her songs for her next album. Few months later I received a call from her husband Rodolfo Lugo asking me to arrange a beautiful song called Princesa. I immediately imagined a string quintet with some Irish instruments and the arrangements flow as smooth as the song. Here is the release of the first cut of her new album "Princesa", enjoy! I have been orchestrating and arranging for orchestra and poliphonic choir for the Teatro Colon.
Here I am playing in the concert. Just finished new orchestrations for full orchestra and poliphonic choir for many famous artists which will take place in the famous Opera House Teatro Colon. The event will open with an overture ¨Regina Vitae¨ which I composed for the occasion. Premiere will be on May 9!!
Boleta is the name of this cue played with armenian violin, bass clarinet, clarinet, ethnic flute, baglama, ukelele, bass, piano, voice and percussion. It has a mixtrure of armenian, celtic and southamerican flavour which creates an original atmosphere.
The full score was recored and mixed in my studio: Screenmusic Studio After working three intensive months in the score of the feature film Madraza, Guillermo is happy to announce that the music is complete and came out something which he is proud of.
With an original style mixing Argentinean folklore, Armenian music and some sparks of celtic sounds, the score came alive bringing a new different and refreshing sound. Armenian violin, bass clarinet, clarinet, ethnic flutes, ukelele, charango, exotic percussion, voices and some programmed synths are part of this coloured and original score. Soon some tracks of Madraza will be uploaded. |
